The Network of Inclusive Companies has called upon fifteen new CEOs to advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities, thereby consolidating an alliance driven by the business sector for full inclusion and equitable treatment in the workplace.
Founded on May 27, 2021, the Network of Inclusive Companies brings together nearly thirty public and private organizations that promote effective inclusion, equal opportunities, and decent work for people with disabilities. It is part of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Global Business and Disability Network and the Ibero-American Network of Inclusive Companies of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS).
For the second consecutive year, and as part of the Inter-American Human Resources Manager Day, this organization held a ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce, attended by various political and business ecosystem authorities.
The purpose of this event was to call upon fifteen new CEOs to advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities, thereby consolidating an alliance driven by the business sector for full inclusion and equitable treatment in the workplace.
This public commitment now includes the total adherence of thirty CEOs from prestigious public and private organizations, promoting, among other things, a zero-tolerance policy toward discriminatory behaviors in the workplace, the involvement of top management through a concrete action agenda, the acceleration of the hiring process for people with disabilities, and the implementation of cross-cutting training initiatives within the organization from a rights-based approach.
